Your privacy matters to CRADLE B SRL. This page explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data we collect
We only collect the data you send us:
- through the quote form: name, company, email address, phone number, country and delivery address, VAT number if any, details of your boat and your message;
- by email or phone, when you contact us;
- when you place an order: billing and delivery details.
We collect no sensitive data and carry out no profiling.
Why we use it
- to answer your request and prepare your quotation (pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- to fulfil your order, delivery and after-sales service (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b));
- to meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c));
- to inform you about our products if you are already a customer or have requested a quotation (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time with a simple email.
Your data is never sold or rented.
Who receives your data
Your data is processed by Cradle B and, only where necessary, by the following providers:
- Cloudflare (website hosting and anonymous audience measurement);
- Web3Forms (forwarding by email of messages sent through the form);
- the European Commission VIES service (VAT number check: only that number is sent);
- Google Fonts (font display: your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads);
- our carriers and delivery partners, to fulfil an order.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- quotation request with no order: 24 months after the last contact;
- customers: for the duration of the contract and warranties, then 10 years from the last delivery (accounting obligations);
- marketing: 24 months after the last contact.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why no consent banner is displayed.
Visits are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free tool that creates no personal identifier and does not follow visitors across websites. Your browser may cache technical files (images, styles) to display pages faster.
Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. As no transmission over the internet is completely secure, we advise you not to send sensitive information by email.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at info@cradleb.com. We reply within 30 days, which may be extended by two months for a complex request. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to confirm it.
Complaints
If you believe your data is not being handled properly, please contact us first. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian supervisory authority: Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Bruxelles, contact@apd-gba.be, www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
